Harmony Square: Tinley Park’s New Downtown Destination

Downtown Tinley Park just got a major upgrade — and if you haven’t seen Harmony Square yet, now’s the time to check it out. As a local realtor and someone who’s always keeping up with what’s happening around the Chicago suburbs, I’m excited to share what makes this new public space such a great addition to the community.

A Year-Round Gathering Space

Harmony Square is a 1.6-acre outdoor plaza located at the corner of Oak Park Avenue and North Street in the heart of downtown Tinley Park. Designed to be a “living room” for the village, this flexible space is built for all seasons and all ages. During the summer, families can enjoy a splash pad, live music events, and outdoor dining. In the winter, the space transforms into an ice rink with curling lanes, fire pits, and a warming hut — making it a true year-round destination.

What You’ll Find at Harmony Square

The square includes a 30x50-foot performance stage, turf lawn, cozy seating areas, seasonal lighting, and covered pergolas. There’s also a rooftop bar overlooking the action, a nearly exact replica of the old Teehan’s Tavern, and a VIP lounge space called Studio 67. Whether you’re coming out for a concert, grabbing drinks with friends, or just looking for a place to bring the kids, Harmony Square has something for everyone.

A Boost for Local Living

Projects like this are part of what makes Tinley Park such a great place to live — and why it continues to attract buyers looking for vibrant, family-friendly communities. As a realtor who lives and works in the south suburbs, I love seeing investments like Harmony Square that bring people together and support local businesses. It’s not just about the features — it’s about creating a sense of place, and Harmony Square does exactly that.

Stop By and See It

If you're local to Tinley or thinking about making a move here, Harmony Square is worth a visit. It’s already hosting events, concerts, and weekend activities — and it’s only the beginning of what’s planned for the space.

Have questions about real estate in Tinley Park or other nearby suburbs? I’d love to help. Whether you're buying, selling, or just exploring your options, I’m here to keep you informed and make the process easy.

I’m a local realtor keeping up with everything going on in and around the Chicago suburbs… so you don’t have to.
